About the Mount Pleasant Community Association (MPCA)

We are a community non-profit association in Port Angeles, Washington, whose purpose is to provide a place and outlet for educational, benevolent, and social activities for the approximately 500 families living in our service area. The Mount Pleasant community is bounded by U.S. Highway 101 on the north and the Olympic National Park on the south, and by Monroe Road on the west and Mount Pleasant Road on the east.

Looking for a local business or service?

Under the "Resources" tab, you'll find a list of local businesses and individuals who offer a variety of services, from snow removal to pet sitting.

If you received the MPCA newsletter, you'll recognize this as the "Neighbor to Neighbor" listing.

The MPCA offers this information free to our community, but we can't guarantee the cost or quality of service.

MORE OF WHAT WE DO

Mount Pleasant Community Association Neighborhood Emergency Response Teams (NERT)

One of our most important activities is sponsorship of a Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT), a group of trained community volunteers who supplement the work of emergency responders in the event of a major disaster.

Every month, members receive an email newsletter with news and information about association events, listings of trusted local services (lawn care, house sitting, etc.), and items for sale.

Rent the community hall and grounds for weddings, dances, anniversary celebrations, swap meets, and other special events. Please check out our Rent the Hall page for more information.
